Planetary and Environmental Scientist
Science Communicator
Frequent Hiccougher.
I'm a space and climate scientist, an educator and an expert in data analysis and equality, diversity, and inclusion.

ÁINE ON GEOSCIENCE
I'm currently an analytical science postdoc at the University of Glasgow/the Scottish Universities Environmental Research Centre. My research centres on the impact of historic (we're talking tens of millions of years ago) climate change events on wildfires in order to inform current climate modelling.
I am also working on meteorites and fireballs, through analysis of the Winchcombe Meteorite, and as a member of the UK Fireball Alliance.

MY SKILLS

SCIENCE COMMUNICATION
I love getting people excited about science. Be that on tv, in public lectures, classrooms, or in podcasts.
SPACE SCIENCE
I'm a planetary and space science researcher, with a background in physics, currently working in meteoritics.
POLICY AND INCLUSIVITY
I'm passionate about accessibility and inclusivity when it comes to STEM, and I'm a bit of a political anorak.
